Football will murder us all in our beds, says the deputy leader of the Secondary Headmasters Association. While his own school's staff laugh at him behind his back, try to think of the thought processes that lead to the idea children only learn about bad language through lipreading footballers.
Carlton Palmer is currently caretaker manager at Mansfield, who are slipping fast in League 2. He's nevertheless being tipped for the main job, although after yesterday's post-match BBC interview that probably won't be the case now. We particularly like how, trying to find something to say about everyone, he ends up with "Tom Curtis... is Tom Curtis!"
